Hi! This is Sarah and Sharukh. We are Indian couple travel bloggers from India. To begin with, we married in 2011 and two-years later we decided to start our own blog.
When we decided to do that, there were already many couple travel bloggers on the Internet doing well. So, it was for us to not make this just another online diary.
Unlike other couple travel bloggers that travel around the world, our focus is solely on India. We cover Indian destinations, shops, restaurants and historic places. If you’re interested in India, we have plenty of content for you to read.
We love exploring different facets of India’s diversity. Together, we love to travel different destinations and towns that intrigue us. We eat at various restaurants, shop different markets and discover the history and interesting facts.
Also, we are story-tellers. We love to share our stories and experiences. Real moments and experiences. Above all, we focus on highlighting the diversity of India in our own special way. If you are new to my blog, you can start with any of these series.
We wrote series on Indian Street Food, Bhaja Caves and Lohagad Fort Trek, Birds in Vasai-Virar, and Invisible Bombay which received positive responses and subsequently encouraged me to write more.
What’s This Blog About?
Home to more than a billion people, India’s diversity is unique. Laced with endless varieties of cultural and ethnic patterns, India is nothing short of a rainbow where different colours come together as one.
It is a country of multi-cultural society. Hence, we celebrate holidays and festivals almost every single month with zeal and enthusiasm. The diversity in India reflects in every possible thing you can imagine. Likewise, you can witness diversity in language, geography, culture, traditions, architecture, and much more.
At Travel India Destinations, we take a deep dive into the various aspects of Indian culture, traditions, history and lifestyle. We do that by exploring different destinations, food, and lifestyle. In doing so, we bring you some interesting facts and stories that mainstream media never share.
If you are interested in posts about Indian destinations, shopping, food, history and culture you can subscribe to our blog to get email notifications.
You can also follow us on our social media handles provided on the side.
