Konkan beaches have always remained one of my favourite destinations in Maharashtra. These secluded and quiet beaches offer you a better way to connect with nature especially when you need a break from the hustle and bustle of modern urban lifestyle.
Apart from the soothing sounds of the waves that offer relaxation, beaches in Konkan also offer you a chance to appreciate marine life. While you are here you can enjoy some stunning coastal landscapes and watch extraordinary sunrises and sunsets.
Similarly, you also enjoy various health benefits like peace of mind and soaking up Vitamin D as you stroll these beaches. Also, if you are here with your friends and family you can play beach games or choose from various water sports activities available.

A beach with fewer people or minimal crowds would be about the only kind of beach I might enjoy. Sunsets over water are the best.
Appreciate your comment and time, Dan. In a country like India, finding a minimal crowd place is a luxury. The best part about beaches is that you cna always find a spot where there are fewer people around. For that, you might probably have to walk a little further from its access point because the entry points are usually where the food stalls are located. However, the beaches mentioned in this list are deep inside the rural area and therefore not many come here. These beaches are usually accessed by fishermen who live in the nearby fishing villages, also many of these beaches have no food stalls and vendors and therefore there is minimum litter.
