How wonderful Sharukh! I know it makes me sound ignorant, but I never even connected Christmas to India celebrations. I know thereare Christians in every country; but I am only just now fully realizing the outside influences of other European cultures on your country. Anothe beautiful and infirmative pist.
Thank you for your comments Cheryl. When you travel India you will come across thousands of places where you can see Gothic and European architecture, even in some of the smallest towns and villages. Almost everybody ruled India, British, French, Portuguese, Mughals, Persians and so on..
I am seing this more and more through your pists Sharukh!
Once again Sharukh, you packed this post with absolutely beautify photos and the perfect mix of description and history. I enjoyed reading this and I wish I had read it earlier.
Thanks Dan
These all look like wonderful places to visit. I like how you include a list of things to do. Saves on the research during a busy time.

Hi, Sharukh and Sarah. This is a great idea for a post topic — the “most searched.” It would surely reflect what people are interested in. I like that Jaipur is called the Pink City — I’m charmed by that. Hugs.
It took me a lot of time to narrow down these destinations based on Google Trends. If you are charmed by Jaipur, stay tuned because there’s a lot more content coming up on Jaipur. During the rule of Sawai Ram Singh II, the city was painted pink to welcome Albert Edward, Prince of Wales in 1876. At the time, pink was the colour of hospitality. Till date, you will find many places in Jaipur painted in shades of pink to maintain its nickname. I and Sarah went to Jaipur to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary in 2021. It was a very short trip of three days, but it was memorable, fun and chilly. It was around 53F and we went up to see the fort which you see in the featured image of this post.
